About Us

The Rotaract Club of Chicago, founded in 1992, is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Chicago

(The Rotary/One Foundation), which was the birthplace of Rotary in 1905. Rotaract is a social and service organization for young professionals and students dedicated to the core principles of Rotary.

The Club engages in three main areas: international service, local community service, and social activities. Our involvement with international service projects includes education and hospital equipment in Central America and water wells in Thailand. Locally, we engage in clothing and food drives, work with soup kitchens and the homeless, Habitat for Humanity, and dictionary drives.

On a social level, we meet once a month for a casual meeting at a nearby restaurant and host fundraisers in Chicago. On a monthly basis, we have a meeting where we invite guest speakers from a variety of expertise and backgrounds. Most importantly, we are a group of fun, diverse individuals who are looking to make a difference in the world.

We believe that by working together, we can make a positive impact on our community and the world at large.
